...well...you could try not giving it water...but you'll end up harming his health...so...not really a good idea...

But, all you have to do is each time the dogs goes in or out of the house you say buisness, potty, bathroom, or any word you want to say for your dog to go. if it does go inside though, MARCH THE DOG OUTSIDE AND SAY NO. If the dog goes outside you say the word you would like to say then reward them with a treat only if it went outside. Time after time your dog will learn that the word means to go wee and poo.

∙ 14y agoUsually if you take a warm towel and rub it on its lower tummy it should urinate from the stimulation. (it works with puppies not sure about full growns)
