How can you help a child who suffers from echolalia?

Answer:
I used to have this until I grew out of it, as I have a bad case of Tourettes Syndrome which is a very mild form of autism. If you have a kid with echolalia, firstly you have to be pretty understanding. This is not a nice condition, and may vary in intensity from condition to condition. You also have to just ignore it, but never let it get out of hand. Encourage them to try to control it.
