How can you keep Broadband from losing connection and stop functioning properly?

[Edit]

Answer

If you are using a hard-wired connection it should not be intermittant. If it is, contact your provider. If you are using a wireless router, such as 2-Wire, it is very sensitive to static charge.

I had to change from 2-wire to Linksys' wireless-G router because of the static load that would cut the 2-Wire every 10-15 minutes. It was maddening...pages would go dead in the middle of edits, etc. But I was happy with the service of the ISP, SBC Internet. I tried using my old 2-wire modem with a new Linksys router and SHAZZAM!

Since I changed to a wireless Linksys I have had no problems at all. I couldn't tell from your question the true nature of your problem. I hope this helps.
