Best Answer

since a frog breathes through its skin pollutatns in the ar will harm the frog.

As will acid rain which inhibits the reproduction the th frog. Tadpoles can't mature as quickly and the pond may dry up before the tadpole is full grown. As well, the mobility of male frogs decreas and there is less of a chance that the eggs will be fertilized.

Building roads in the forest and marshland dimises the frogs becasue frogs are part of two ecosystems and a raod seperates the water component of their ecosyatem from the forest.

Lastly, UV rays casue cancer and organ damage through a frogs thin skin. Therefore, with the increase in global warming and UV radiation, a frog is at risk.

My cats used to bring in frogs all the time so in the end we put all of them and even the injured ones in my rabbit run, with lots of water in reachable buckets and bowls and even large plastic boxes so they had room to swim. we put lots of damp twigs and moss and stuff in for them to feel at home in. You must not keep them forever though, if you want a frog though its best to keep replacing them so you don't restrict there life. Remember, we only did this because of the fact our cats kept bringing them in to our house and we wanted to rescue them. We let them all go once they all fully recovered.

If you do decide you want a frog why not go to your pet store and see about buying an actual pet frog instead of a wild one?

Frogs need to be fed wild bugs like crickets (these can be bought at your local pet store) they will not eat dead ones.

Make sure the frog has plenty of deep water to swim in with lots of space. Other wise it will dry out.

Only pick it up when you very need to.

Hope this helps.
