To lose one pound, a human body needs to create a caloric deficit of 3,500. To eliminate 100 pounds in 9 months would require cutting more than 1,200 calories a day, which is extremely unsafe. Sustainable weight loss, however, is very much possible with a healthy diet, exercise, and a reasonable time frame.
Do the Tracey Anderson Diet and workout plan (Gwenyth Paltrow and Madonna's trainer). Her principles include two hours a day of exercise- six days a week. Also, it includes a very low calorie consumption- namely from veggies, fish, and egg whites.
It is a very hard diet to follow, but if you truly motivated- you will succeed.
Best wishes-

With great difficulty. 100 pound in 6 months translates to more than 4 pounds/week, and maintaining that loss rate while still getting the essential nutrients needed to stay healthy will be a real challenge. I wouldn't advise anyone to go for that loss rate, unless maybe if they had the support of professionals, dieticians and physicians. My suggestion would be to aim for something like 70 pounds in 6 months instead. That'd be doable with a much more "normal" looking diet and is liklely to be a healthier option in the long run. The thing to remember is that obesity is the result of poor lifestyle choices in terms of eating and physical activity, and the only way(short of surgery) to get good long-term results is to establish a new and healthier lifestyle. But old habits die hard, and new habits grow slowly, so you need to give yourself time for the new habits to settle properly. Going on a crash diet might bring your weight down, but then you have to transition from your crash diet back to a new sustainable diet. If you were to go back to your old habits you would simply start to pile those pounds back on again. Better then to use a less severe diet which is more easily phased into your new sustainable diet once you've reached your goal.
eat PLENTY of veggies, fruits, nuts and that stuff. To much milk is also very fattening so if you must have it drink at least 1 small glass a day. It is good for you for bone structure, but to much is fattening. Also cut back on bread, chips, cookies, ice cream and all that good stuff. It might seem like alot, but do this. Along with eating healthier. (I do this and i am in fit shape.) On mondays work out your thighs, stomach and arms for at least 42 minutes. On tusedays work out your stomach, calfs and thighs for at least 50 minutes. Wednsdays work out your stomach, arms and thighs for at least 42 minutes, Thursdays work out your calfs, stomach and thighs for at least 50 minutes. Fridays work out your arms, thighs and calfs for at least 50 minutes. Saturdays work out your arms, calf's, thighs and stomach for an hour. And on Sunday have a free day. Don't workout (unless you want to) I do sometimes! If you do this and eat healthy this could possibly take less than 6 months. Depending on how much work you put into it!!!!! It might seem like alot, but in the end you see that flat stomach with toned abs, smaller thighs that doesnt have fat that spreads ou t when you sit down, and nice legs ready for a skirt it is all worth it.
Also when your working out put on a really good song that gets you moving. You should also consider buying a pillaties machine. They work out great and they work everything. Also Be really carefull some of the excersices you do because some can tone your but, or just make you lose it. So i don't work out my but. I like my but. I would hate having a flat but. But toned arms, nice thighs, calfs and stomach are very sexy and make you feel confident! I'm 15 and i know all this. But any ways do what i said and it will all be worth your while!!!!!!
You don't. It's dangerous as well as impossible.
You should do lose weight gradually, allowing a whole year for every 50-100 pounds you want to lose.
Here's a program for the period in which you want to lose weight:
Plenty of moderate aerobic exercise, no sweetened liquids at all, and no junk food at all. Preferably no sugar, and as little added salt and processed foods as possible. Eat 3 not-large-portioned meals/day; do not skip breakfast; and avoid sweet snacks. Limit your calories (better to consult a doctor or nutritionist concerning the amount), and weigh yourself 2-3 times/week. Ignore the sensation of hunger. If you see your weight diminishing at a safe, reasonable rate (1-2 pounds/week), keep it up.
Once you've reached your target weight, increase your calorie intake somewhat. And you can then have small amounts of sweetened foods or junk food on occasion (if at all), along with your regular foods (not instead of them). But keep checking your weight 2-3 times/week.
Avoid crash diets, diet pills etc. Avoid fatty cuts of meat. Walk as much as possible. Bicycling and swimming are good too.
More guidelines:
Don't concentrate on specific foods so much as on a balanced, healthy diet plus exercise. Plenty of moderate exercise rather than intense exercise, which can damage your joints.
Good nutrition means eating what your body needs, while ingesting as few harmful things as possible. It has also been described as getting enough of each of the major food categories (grains, fruits, vegetables, protein, dairy, etc.; plus plenty of water).
This will vary somewhat from one person to another; and I don't believe that there's any universal diet that can be prescribed for everyone. Avoid best-sellers with their perennial fad diets. And think twice before using any dietary supplements or weight-loss pills.
In general, one's starting point can be a menu of whole grains, whole-wheat bread, a good amount of vegetables, some fruits and nuts, fish, lean meats (in not-large amounts), and some dairy. However, this must be tweaked according to one's health, weight and other factors at the outset; and also adjusted over time, as one sees what works for him/her in particular.
Also...whenever you feel queasy, nauseous, constipated or otherwise not completely well, try to remember what you've eaten over the last several hours or the last day. This is one method of adjusting one's food habits.
