In general, the easiest way to lose knee fat is to reduce your total body fat; however, there are ways to specifically reduce fat in areas such as the knees (and other joins). Knee 'fat' may be largely due to fluid build up which can be a result of excess sodium. Make sure your diet doesn't have too much salt in it - many packaged food products contain a lot of salt these days - and drink plenty of water (aim for about 2L a day).

Another method would be doing leg only exercises, such as squats. I would suggest that you undertake a more wholesome exercise routine, however, for general health purposes. Also the more you build up muscle in any area of the body, the more calories your body will burn at rest, thus reducing fat.
