This is not true. I was on Lexapro for under a year and have gained about 10 lbs at least. My eating and excercising habits did not change. I am having a v. difficult time losing the weight now.

updated - All pharmaceuticals affect each individual differently. From what I've heard though most people have gained weight. You couldn't pay me to go back on that crap again!

IF YOU GAINED WEIGHT YOU ARE JUST BLAMING THE LEXAPRO, I'VE LOST 15LBS. IN 5 MONTHS ON IT! I'M ALMOST READY TO GO OFF BECAUSE I AM GETTING TOO SKINNY.

I have been on Lexapro 1 month and have lost 10 lbs. I started doing South Beach because I was afraid of the weight gain side effects (I am heavy enough already). But I think you can manage your weight if you try.
