you would need to first make a model of a face out...lets say clay, then pour plaster all over it, let it harden, then take out clay, then pour latex all around it and let the latex sit there. then you take the latex and airbrush makeup on it and then you'd have it. or you could go to

Only if you mask and tape the walls well. Over-spray on the wall surface will make it difficult for the latex to adhere properly. As the areas around trim work get a lot of traffic, it is essential the latex adhere completely.

To complete truly impressive costumes or disguises, a facial prosthetic – often in the form of a mask made of foam latex or other latex – can be used to completely alter someone’s facial features and appearance. Partial facial prosthetics can be used to alter individual features, such as adding a giant nose or pointy ears. With the following simple steps and a bit of practice, you can learn to make and apply a facial prosthetic for costume purposes. -Step 1: Make the mask (or the feature) out of latex or foam latex. This will require that you first make a mold out of some substance like plasticine clay, and coat the clay with petroleum jelly or another slippery substance to prevent adherence. You can then pour the liquid latex into the mold, sloshing it around thoroughly. (You may need to use a negative mold, perhaps in plaster, of the actor’s face as well as a positive mold of the prosthesis, so the latex mask can be created in the space between to fit more exactly). Quite a few layers may be needed, letting each one dry before adding more latex. Eventually you will be able to peel out the latex mask. -Step 2: Attach using prosthetic adhesives designed to help your mask last (spirit gum, while traditional, can damage your creation and limit its lifetime). -Step 3: Carefully blend the edges of your mask, using liquid or “flesh” latex, and covering with powder. -Step 4: Use paint, makeup, and hair to create the desired coloring and effects on the mask. (If you are permanently painting your mask, you can do this before you put it on – if using makeup, you may want to wait until afterward to avoid smearing.) Complete your costume with carefully chosen clothes. -Step 6: Depending on the adhesive you used to attach your prosthetic, you may be able to pull off your mask, or you may need to use a specially designed solvent that will dissolve the glue without harming the latex. After practicing these steps a few times, you will soon be creating costumes like the pros!

Slush latex, also known as mask and slip latex, is a thick cream colored liquid with a strong ammonia smell. Unlike foam latex, it doesn't need to be oven baked and will dry by air into an opaque rubber-like material similar to a rubber band. * http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Lot/9373/SCREAM/ltxmask.html
