you SHOULD NOT use cedar shavings for your guinea pig because they cedar shavings give off fumes the are toxic to guinea pigs and eventually suffacte them! you should apply BLACK AND WHITE newspaper on the bottom of the cage, and then your bedding on top of that.

∙ 15y agoThe best type of "made" bedding would be shredded "yesterdays news" newspapers! Although some wood chips can be suitable, just avoid pine, this can lead to liver damage to your guinea pig later on in life!
