You should be able to use the Output on your Walkman to plug it into speakers so you can hear your music without headphones. I'm sure they make speakers specifically for items like Walkman or Discman.

hes right they do have speakers but u cant use them as a walkman unless u like to carry mini speakers around all day
A small system like a walkman does not produce enough power to sound like a boom box.Bass requires some type of amplification. 1,get a pair of speakers that have an amp.as part of the package,a pair of speakers and amp still cost more than a new boom box of comparable quality. 2,you can plug in the output of the walkman into the input of most amps but use only one that you can afford to loose!Start out with the walkman and amp at there lowest settings. Just for laughs you might try a stethoscope.
