i dont know of any prevention but you can definitely make some life choices to lower your risk, like dont smoke, especially if you are over age 35 and on Birth Control. Eat healthy food, all the time not just sometimes, always check your breasts for lumps and get mammograms, small circular motions in the shower with soap makes for a slippery, gliding hand movement and is sometimes easier to feel lumps that way.
do at home checks for lumps routinely and often, and go to the doctor for you professional check up, if you ever find and sort of abnormal lump don't ignore it and check with you doctor right away
