∙ 15y agoYou can not catch lice by not sharing hair brushes, pillows and anything you would use you hair or head with. Lice hate tea tree oil so you can buy that in a shampoo. There are also products that you can buy that you spray on your hair to repel them. Ask your pharmacist

∙ 12y agoYou can't, but you can prevent lice from getting your hair by some simple methods.
1. Shower daily (shower each or day or 1 of 2 days is good)
2. Shaving your head will certainly lower the chance of getting lice since there's nowhere to hide the nits (louse eggs) and because lice is brown or black and you can see it move on your "bald head".
3. If you have lice, you can get the treatment/medicine from pharmacies like CVS.
