You will need dirt generally speaking. I would first suggest you seek and apply to the areas you want to raise a dense clay dirt and allow it to sit with some wet weather. If still more dirt is necessary continue to apply clay. Top off the clay with a mixture of good loam suitable for grass seed or sod.
Extend your raised soil area to at least a foot or two beyond the overhang of the roof line or gutters. Extend this raised area a sufficient distance in a slopping manner away from the structure to ensure good water run off.
