I am thinking you mean vaginitis - it is related to bacteria. Is your vulva swollen and sore? Is it a bit itchy? Does it hurt to urinate? Most women get this from too much sex (is there such as thing?) or rough sex. You should always pee and wash after sex. Treat it like you would treat thrush - avoid sex, change your underwear frequently and use an anti-fungal cream. You may find that it clears up after your next period.
It depends on the cause; for swelling caused by an allergic reaction to a latex condom - with your doctor's OK take 2 Benedryl antihistamine pills. Then take a cool bath or wash yourself well with a clean, wet wash cloth, then wrap a small baggie with ice cubes, in a clean, small wet towel. Put it right where it aches (externally) for about 20 minutes. If the swelling is no better in 30 minutes use the ice bag wrapped in a fresh, wet towel. If no relief after 2 ice treatments call your doctor or ER again.
Swelling after sex without a latex allergy, use the above suggestions without the Benedryl.
Swelling caused by a known yeast infection, keep your perineum clean from any of the vaginal discharge - the fungus in the overgrowth of Candida, is extremely irritating - use OTC Monistat or other anti-fungal, see your doctor if there is no improvement in 24 hours.
Swelling with a discharge could be a bacterial infection, see your doctor or health clinic ASAP for diagnoses and treatment.
First you need to see a doctor and find out what is causing the swelling.
I'm not a doctor, but I would think that ice or a ice pack would help.
I was told it was from blood making it swell from sexual activities.
Use ice cubes or sit in a tub of icewater. That should do it.
Stop using irritating products such as soaps, baby wipes etc.
Just leave it alone, and it will go away. That's what I did.
A single painful lump on the vaginal lip of a person who has not had sexual intercourse is most likely a sebacious cyst from an oil gland or inflammed lymph node
It could be a yeast infection, go to the doctor asap. I differ from the response above... When having a lump it can mean different cause... First thing you need to ask yurself are you sexual active? How many partners? Do you shave (can be an engrown hair, hair follicles) you can also get pimples in the area. It can also be a std. My advice is to go to your ob/gyn
I have a really painful lump on my iliac crest on the posterior side which is the sacroiliac crest area. Can you tell me what it is?
A soft, non-painful lump in a dog's neck could be a lipoma, or fatty tumor. It can also be a cyst that a veterinarian can drain.
I have a black strange bump inside my upper lip also..it looks like a scar.in the day time its camoflauge..but at night time from a certain view you can notice it,and its nothing preety!! i need it removed or treated A.s.ap
Could be anything. Go to your doctor!
The best way to get medical advise is to see a doctor. There is no way to tell what a soft, painful lump on the heel of your foot without an examination.
It could actually be a boil, but if you are worried, then see your doctor.
Not generally
It is not possible to tell how serious the painful lump is without getting it looked at by a doctor. The best solution is to schedule an appointment with a medical professional.
