a metal embry board with the tip. or if you don't have that, try a toothpick

Most dirt under nails comes from digging things up with you nails. But the most common way to get dirt under your nails is scratching. When you take a bath a scratch, lets say your arm or something, the dead skin scraps off into your finger nails. So don't scratch with your nails. try using the back of your nails instead.

But the reason why I crossed off "try a toothpick" is because you can damage your tissue that connects the nail to your finger if you accidentally jab further then under the nail. You can clean you nails with your own nails while taking a shower.

In short, don't scratch with your nails because it causes dirt to form. Which is usually dead skin. And the best way to get rid of the dirt is to clean daily, cut your nails short so the nails cant collect dirt (not to short, it will hurt). Try using a nail filer ( I think that's what its called ) so the white stuff of the nail covers any dirt, and if your a girl use nail polish to cover it and fix it later.

You can prevent getting mud under in the first place by scraping your nails across hard bar soap before heading out to dig. When you come back in and wash your hands normally, the soap lifts out easily and takes the dirt along with it!

But if the mud still gets in I would recommend just soaking them in water for about 10 minutes. If you have a bath or go swimming that also works.

Thanks for listening to my ideas, I hope they have satisfied you.

How long does the nail polish on your nails stay on for?

Nail polish does tend to chip very easily, and can look messy by the end of a week of having it on. There are a few things you can do to help it stay on longer. Before applying nail polish, wipe your nails with nail polish remover to help remove the oils in your nails, this will help the nail polish adhere to the nails. Put on a base coat. Apply two coats of your favourite nail polish. Put on a top coat.

What can you use ti remove nail polish without acetone?

Yes! You can use finger nail polish remover without Acetone. In addition, I recommend that you soak a cotton ball with remover, place on nail bed then wrap with foil for 5 minutes. Remove foil and cotton, then use an orange stick to help remove shellac polish from your nails. I like to condition my nails following this process.
