Actually if u ran out of nail polish remover and really need to get rid of your nail polish then get some hand sanitizer (Hand anti bacterial rub) then put it on tissue or cotton wool then rub your nails with it!!! SIMPLE!!!

To remove acrylic nails you will need to soak your nails in acetone which can be done at your local nail shop, or you can purchase some acetone from your local beauty supply. When your nails is thoroughly softened, gently life the artificial nail from your natural nail by using an orangewood stick. Afterwards clean your entire nail using polish remover. The acetone softens the hard acrylic so the nails are easily removed.
If the acrylic painting has been hanging for a long time, try using a cotton swab and some acetone fingernail polish remover. The polish remover should wipe the marker from the paint without lifting the paint. Take your time and use just the tip of the swab and the marker should lift off into the swab.

If the fiberglass has not yet cured then it can me removed using acetone. Acetone is often the main ingredient in nail polish remover. Be sure to test on a small area first since acetone can damage some fabrics. If the fiberglass has cured try soaking with Trichloroethane to soften the fiberglass enough to remove it. It actually happened today sparkle nail polish in 2/3 rds of her hair, the baby oil helped a lot, I just took small pieces and smeared the oil on and a lot would rub off, but I had to comb through it, it was not a fun process took me 2 hours and it was somewhat painful for my daughter I don't think she will ever do this one again, consequences for her actions! a painful lesson.
