How can you stop problems with so-called ecotourism?

Answer:
Eco-tourists tend to be people who have more money, and time, than taste or responsibility. Contributing to the human erosion of the Great Barrier reef solely to provide 'oh, I've been there' anecdotes at a dinner party do not equate to anything remotely 'eco'. Beside which, the amount of fossil fuel that it takes to transport these people to these remote places cannot be justified by the stupidest, selfish statement of all, 'I've offset my carbon footprint'.
