Self controle works best for me. I find myself ready to explode from the sarcasm of my teenage daughter. But I have to contain it, and my own sarcasm. Once in a while I find my self arguing with her. WRONG! That puts her on an equal level with me. A battle of witts with a teenage gerl, no thanks! I controle my anger, but I let her know I am angry, I tell her what she has done was the wrong thing to do. My tone is kept in check so I can controle the direction and mood of the discution. YOU ARE THE PARENT, THE BOSS, THE COACH, don't put your self on the "playing field". Uncunditional love comes into play after a consaquence has been given. The last note should be yours and a loveing one. I'm no expert but this works for me, I hope it helps you.
