How can you tell how much memory you have left on iPad 2?

I wrote these out in steps .

1) unlock your iphone

2) on the main homescreen tap settings

3)In settings scroll down until you see general and tap it

4) Once in general settings tap about ( should be the very first thing on the list)

5) In the about section it will tell you how many songs,videos,photos, and applications you have. The secction that says capacity shows how much gb your device came with (ie. 16 or 32) the section that says available is how many gb is still left free on your ipad.

Hook your iPad up to your computer. iTunes should open, and a sync will begin. (if not, click file > sync.) after it finishes syncing, click your iPad under 'devices' in iTunes. At the bottom will be a memory bar, which will tell you how much space is taken, and how much you have left.

You can go to app store to download a iphone version software on your ipad called "Battery Doctor". Then you can check the instant memory usage and free some memory. That app can also help you to maintain a good battery use and charge habbit.

Connect your iPad to your Computer with iTunes and they will be a bar showing how much space you have left.

For ios5 devices go to Settings > General > Usage. Here you can see the available storage space as well as consumed.
