it depends on whatcolour the fish is, if its black than its quite difficult to see but if its silver or Dalmatian than you should be able to see a black dot underneath it and they should try and eat all the food also it would be bigger
You know when a silver molly fish is pregnant as her stomach will swell very much like a humans. The stomach will swell to a moderately large size and will give birth (to live young) usually over night or when there is no audience. The mother will usually eat her young so only a few remain.
When their stomachs get super big, unless you get a balloon belly molly. On lighter fish you can look for a dark spot near their rear ends. If you look you will see that the dark spot get closer to their butts every week until they give birth. Good luck!
A female livebearer like a Molly will make sudden dashes from one place to another for no apparent reason when she is getting ready to release her young. This behaviour continues throughout parturition until all the fry have been released.
If she's got a larger than normal belly. Otherwise, you can't.
If it has been with a male it will be pregnant (gravid) The thing to look for is a large tummy and sometimes there is a dark spot visible just in front of the ventral fin.
If she has been in a tank with a male she will be pregnant. You will see her tummy get bigger.
She will have a very large stomach and will mostly be followed by a male.
if her stomach is big
if her toach is bigger than usuall
Molly Is Pregnant With Kevin
Just look between its fins, silly!
Idon't no if this will help but if there is a male in the same tank as the female molly then 80% of the time the female is pregnant.
usually most mollies have a gravid spot meaning it is a black spt near the anal fin and these are found on colored mollies where on a black molly, you can see it cause the mark is black but if you have an orange molly definetly a gravid spot and when she is ready to birth, she will look like a square where her stomach is. good luck! :)
