How can you tell your guinea pig is sick?

Well there are a few ways to tell if your pig is sick. One way is if your pig does not eat or drink. If they don't make any noises like usual, or if they shake and shiver (they may not be just cold). When your pig has a runny nose, it is okay for a few days but if the "sniffles" continue for a week or so, then he or she needs to be taken to the doctor. also you can tell if they lose and gain weight constantly, or shed more than normal. one bad sign is if your pig starts to get a lot of "gunk" in their eyes, that won't go away.

I have had quite a few guinea pigs, Choco, Latte, Patch, Sammy, Honey and Checkers. All of which are now dead except Checkers x They usually limp or walk a little bit funny like somethings not right, if they think they are too ill they face corners or try to hide themselves. Hope this helped xx

They have a thing that happens if they aren't healthy or lacking vitaman C, which they need because their body doesn't produce it. The disease is called, Scurvy.

Signs of it are:

Limping

Wimpering

Not drinking or eating

Staying in one spot and not moving
