The subwoofer will sound like crap.
Sounds like a blown subwoofer.
There are many reasons why a subwoofer will stop working. One reason is that the coils inside the subwoofer may have become disconnected. Another reason is that if the music was being played really loud, it could have blown out.
i have a 1998 ford explorer Eddie baurer and my rear speakers do not work the subwoofer in the trunk is blown out but that does not explain why my back door speakers are not working i was wondering you could tell me possibly why that is
You can tell if your heal lamp relay is blown is by inspecting the fuses. If you look closely at the fuse, you will be able to tell it is blown or not. If you see a separation in the fuse, it is blown.
Remove the fuse and look at it. If you cannot tell if it is blown by looking at it then check it with an ohm meter.
There are many ways to tell if a fuse is blown. The most obvious way of telling is if it doesn't work.

It all depends on what kind of subwoofer you have , size , power and so forth . They have many different variations so it is impossible to tell the exact range of sound .
A relay does not have a fuse. The circuit for the particular relay is fused. You can tell if the fuse is blown by testing it with an ohm meter.

A compression test will tell you if a head gasket is blown on ANY engine. Also, white smoke tells you that your burning anti-freeze, which means a head gasket is blown.
A subwoofer can vary in prices......it really depends on what kind of subwoofer you get including the number of watts it has.....
