with the truck at cold temp pull the oil stick out and see if the oil has a milky color. if so then pressurize system for leaks around head, intake .also look at coolant usage and unexpected temp increase while in operation or coolant odor all will follow with in some cases skipping large amount's of steam

Water mixed with oil? Oil mixed with water? White smoke out of tailpipe? Lack of compression on 2 adjacient cylinders?
You cannot repair a blown head gasket, you must remove the heads and replace the gasket.
You've more than likely overheated the engine and cause a head to crack, or you've blown a head gasket and it's going out the tailpipe. Is there steam coming out of the tailpipe?
