Being one myself, you dont want to be. Being a true empath to the same degree as i is almost torturous being i have to feel everyones pain and sorrow. My depression is due to this empath ability i have and i dont quite like it. To know if your an empath you have to be able to look at a person and tell how they are feeling. I am such a strong empath i can even tell emotion from writen word at times. If your an empath and you belive your like me then you can somtimes read thoughts due to the degree of the emotions your reading. Being an empath means you have a type of phychic power and this one is impossible to fully control. If you belive you are an empath you should be good at phycology and human nature subjects.
