I've read some forums and it looks like it might be when the engine goes into "safe mode" and won't let you rev over 2500 RPM. I have a 2002 Nissan Altima that started having this problem that would not allow me to rev past 2500 RPM's and it got worse. I tore the engine down after the dealer informed me that the pre-cat was coming apart and was going to suck particles back into the motor and destroy it. People this is a bunch of crap.......The truth is the pre-cat is coming apart and everything in the pre-cat will be stuck in the second cat causing the engine to overheat because the exhaust gases cannot get out and the engine will not rev due to the fact that it cannot breathe.
how do you clean mass air flow sensor on a 1998 Nissan altima? To clean the mass air flow sensor , you need to get a can of CRC mass air flow cleaener frm auto zone, Kragen, Pepboys, Sensor is attached to the tube (next to airfilter). again you need to use mass air flow cleaner ( CRC ). I use this on my ford windstar and Nissan sentra 05 and 95. it runs better after cleaning the mass air flow sensor.
It does not use a mass air flow sensor. It does not use a mass air flow sensor.
A 2002 Jeep Wrangler does not have a mass airflow sensor.
the mass air flow sensor measures the amount of air flow going into the intake so that it can properly adjust the air to fuel ratio. if you are thinking about removing it, don't do it. your car will not run properly.
It does not have a mass airflow sensor.
There is no mass air flow sensor on the Saturn S-series.
On a 2002 Ford Ranger : The Mass Air Flow Sensor is between the engine air filter and the engine air intake tube
don't have a diagram but it is located between the air filter and intake
it will be on ur air intake hose and it will have a wiring harness plugged into it
A 2002 Chrysler Town and Country does not use a mass airflow sensor.
Yes.
On a 2002 Ford Explorer : The Mass Air Flow sensor is between the top of the engine air filter housing and the big engine air intake tube
