How can you treat tinea?

Do you mean tinea versicolor? My boyfriend has it- and dandruff shampoo works alright, but you have to lather it on and keep it on the blotches for about 30 minutes before you wash it off. You also have to do this reguarly, almost daily and they should fade in a few weeks. There's also a yeast infection cream that works well- but I forget which one it is, you can't use any one, though, it has to have a certain ingredient in it.
