How can you unclog a toilet with no plunger?

[Edit]
If you don't have a plunger, you can

  1. Buy a plunger
  2. Put a glove on and throw the gunk away
  3. Use a stick to fish it out
  4. If you have a second toilet you can use, just leave the clogged one alone for a couple of days (i.e. don't use it or flush it). The solids will generally dissolve in that period of time and the next flush will clear out the material.
  5. Call a plumber
