How close were Fallschirmjaeger doctors to combat in World War 2?

[Edit]

Answer

This depends on your definition of 'doctor.' Field medics, be it Red Cross or corp men, fought and jumped into battle along side the troops. Actual doctors were back in set up hospitals behind the lines.
