How come military tanks do not have wheels?

  • To improve traction and hence mobilty. Tracks also allow Tanks to cross gaps such as ditches.

  • Tanks have wheels - the tracks actually roll on wheels big ones at the ends and little ones in between. Same as a bulldozer.
