You take out the battery, then put it back in....the lens will still be out but press the power button ( this turn on the camera again) then you press it again to turn it off
If you have an AF, or auto-focus lens (like the kit 18-55mm lens) you can focus your lens prior to filming, but cannot auto-focus while filming. To manually focus, switch the switch on the side of your lens to 'M' for manual. To focus, turn the outer focus ring on the lens until your subject matter is clear.
Tech support says to 1-remove the battery and mem card 2-hold down the shutter button for 30 seconds (not the power button) 3-reinsert battery and turn on camera. I couldn't find these instructions anywhere, and it didn't fix my lens error problem. It may be a way to just restore default settings if you camera gets a software error, or if you just want to return to them for whatever reason.
There is a screw on the side of the signal, you can reach it through the middle of the bumper. unscrew that and the whole signal will come out of the bumper. pop the clips and then the lens will come off
how to install volvo 740 turn signal lens
Battery and memory card installed?
Remove the bulb from the back side. The lense does not have to be removed.
Open The Rear Hatch, pull off the taillight lens, locate the bulb, Push the bulb in and turn at the same time. It Should Come out.
Open trunk & pull away carpet from behind the lights.
I think the lens cover has snaps along the top and sides of the lens cover. It also looks as if you would have to loosen the turn signal unit that sits beside each headlight. The headlight lens cover is tucked into a recess along the turn signal unit. It doesn't look as if you would need any tools to remove the old lens covers, but you may need a screwdriver to loosen or remove the turn signal unit next to the lens.
If you look lower left of the lens right beside the mega pixel print you see a button. Push button and turn lens ring to add adapter if you want to add additional accessories like lenses hood, or filters. If your question is come off like the newer canon cameras leaving just the camera body then no. I guess if you need a new lens you could disassemble the camera and replace it but i wouldnt suggest that.
