How deposition of uric acid crystal cause pain?

Answer:
Uric acid is not very soluble in the blood, so when you end up with too much of it in your system it start to crystallize. the crystals are in the shape of sharp needles and these end up getting into the synovial fluid of joints. the big toe is often the first place to become a problem. however they can settle in many places and the crystals can also build up and cause damage in the kidney and other organs.
