A tornado brought Dorothy Gale and her pet dog Toto to the beautiful, enchanted, magical lands of Oz. The first people that they met on their adventures outside Kansas were three Munchkins, and the Good Witch of the North. The Witch found out from her magic slate that Dorothy needed to go to the Emerald City, to get back home. Then she gave Dorothy a protective kiss on the forehead, and told her to seek the Yellow Brick Road, to the Emerald City of Oz. Once there, Dorothy and Toto would find the Wizard, the Supreme Ruler of Oz, in his Emerald Palace.
