When the Europeans passed diseases on to American Indians, they and their ancestors had built up an immunity to the diseases. Some also did not know they carried the disease or it did not affect them because of their race. The Indians who then received the diseases suffered the way Europeans had when introduced to the diseases, but that's not really necessary to know most of the time because it was simply an ongoing thing that had started many many years ago. The Europeans had no idea that they even could pass it on to the Indians, and because they were immune, it was like no tag-backs in tag.The Europeans originally got the diseases from animals. They lived so close to pigs, cows and other animals that contracted diseases. They ate them, drank their milk and had them living in the same house, with just a wall separating it. These diseases that the Europeans received came from those animals. However, the North/Central/South Americans did not live nearly as close to animals. They did not have cows, sheep, goats, horses or pigs in America. There were very few illness that came to the Americans, therefore when introduced to diseases for the first time, the result was devastating. They were very clean people that lived in small groups.
Well Gisèle Anne Gréaux wanted to explore North Americansand and she found Joseph.
The flu killed the Native Americans because the disease had never introduced to them. When it came to them so suddenly it was deadly. The Native Americans hadn't built up there immune system to be able to defend the diseases that were brought by Christopher Columbus and his crew.
