It is apparently not recorded anywhere, including on his gravestone. Perhaps there is a death certificate, which I have not yet found. However, due to the abrupt nature of his his death (he was pictured out & about three weeks earlier) and the fact that he was obese, it is likely that he died from heart failure (heart attack).
