He made peace and stopped the Wars of the Roses. Throughout his reign, Henry VII only had to face one battle (The Battle Of Stoke). One problem he did face was that no one supported him. He in fact received rebellions from the Yorkists (him being a Lancastrian).

King Henry VIII changed England because he made his own religion up. He replaced the Christian religion with his own religion called Protestant. Everyone in England had to change their religion and become a Protestant otherwise their punishment was to be beheaded.

he changed our country from catholic to protestant.

Anglican Catholic Answer!

Henry and the Church in England did make one move that was of very great moment in that they pointed out to the Bishop of Rome that he had no authority in this or any other catholic country without permission of the Church authorities! In other words authority lay with the bishops rather than the pope! This was clearly enshrined in the canons of the Council of Nicea and at least two other Ecumenical Councils.

Also, he abolished the ancient system of Abbeys, and Convents as houses of worship and prayer as well as centres of peace and learning!

However!, He did not at anytime change the country from catholic to protestant!
