Israel became a nation on two separate major occasions.

-- The first followed the Exodus from Egypt, placed by various sources

somewhere during the the 12th to 14th centuries BCE.

-- The second occurred on May 14th, 1948. The next day a war broke out when Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq declared war on Israel. The war ended a year later with a ceasefire.

Israel became a nation when there was word that the british were leaving. It was almost Shabbat (Friday night) and everyone thought it was the chance to make a state. A declaration was written without the name even put in and a makeshift ceremony took place in the basement of an art museum in Tel-Aviv. Later, while everyone was celebrating, the surrounding Arab countries attacked and Israel went to war. This was the War of Independence.

Answer 1

In 1947, with the British preparing to pull out of the "Palestine mandate" that they had controlled since early in the Century, the United Nations voted to divide the administration of the mandate territory, with the local Arab community authorities to administer one portion of it, and the local Jewish community authorities to administer the other portion. In May of 1948, the local Jewish administration declared their portion to be an independent sovereign nation, with the name of "State of Israel". Rather than encourage the administrators of the Arab portion to do the same, the governments of Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan were so irritated by the Jews' shameless public display of their intention to stay alive, that the armies of the Arab nations simultaneously attacked Israel from all directions, but failed in their objective to wipe the new nation from the map and replace it with mountains of dead Jews. Almost 63 years later, Israel still exists, and that is the single greatest insult that its neighbors have never forgiven and have publicly vowed never to tolerate.

Answer 2

After almost two millennia of Jewish dispersal, the State of Israel declared independence on May 14, 1948. It was during the 1890s that Theodore Herzl first encouraged the Zionist movement. Israel actually began in the early 1900's with the British mandate over Palestine. The Zionist movement lobbied the British government to create a land for them in Palestine, which was under British control. With this mandate there were several mass immigrations to this area called Aliyah's. Several of these movements happened gaining momentum with the rise of Nazism in Europe. After the war Israel slowly moved on its way to becoming a full on country.

It never did, these Jewish people that you have right now are not Jews from the line of Judah.

They are fakes, imposers; these people are khazars jews descends. The real Jews are they one that were taken into slavery according to The Bible; these people do not fit the description the Bible gave of the Original Israel nor do they fit the curses.

The day after the Israeli Declaration of Independence, five Arab national armies (Egyptian, Jordanian, Lebanese, Syrian, and Iraqi) and two foreign contingents (from Saudi Arabia and Yemen) declared war on the nascent state. As the Jewish-Arab Engagement had already begun, this was more an internationalization and expansion of that civil war.

Israel was created because of a confluence of different historical factors. The time of the British Mandate had allowed for the increase of Zionism, the Holocaust had create pity for the Jewish people, and European nations realized that they could not maintain their empires. All of these factors lead to the Creation of the State of Israel in 1948.
