Lord Rama didn't die, when all work for which Sri Rama had taken the avatar came to an end and Ram Rajya was fully established, it was time to return to Vaikunta. So the only way was to enter river Sarayu which would take Lord Rama back to Vaikunth which is the place where Maha Vishnu keeps the world running. None of the avatars ever die. Either they are still here looking after us or gone back to original source again.
lord shiva is the one without begining and ending... shiva and kali represent equal male and female energy.. If lord shiva fights kaali maa then everything would get destroyed..Inorder to pacify maa kaali lord shiva accepted his defeat and got prisoned in maa's stomach. Later on, maa kaali recognised her mistake, she requested lord shiva to get liberated..
Publishing your views in this way is completely non-sense..lordshiva is the Supreme God of universe..I suggest you to be completely aware of it, when you people write about him.

He died in river Saryu. Upon Devtas advising him to end his life as the purpose of his avatar on earth is over, he during one of the poojas in river Saryu takes a dip and doesn't come up. This is after many many years of Sita having buried in mother earth, and Lakshmana going for tapasya.

After the slaying of Ravana while returning to Ayodhya Sri Ram thanked all the monkeys for helping him in the war and asked what their wishes were.
Angad, the son of Bali, asked him whether he will be able to revenge the killer of his father.
Sri Ram smiled and told him that his wishes will be fulfilled in his next life. (Remember, the slayer of Bali was none other than Sri Ram himself).
Thus, in his next incarnation Sri Ram became Sri Krishna while the hunter Jara who killed Sri Krishna was none other than Angad himself.
The Lord was reposing under the tree with his feet crossed. The hunter from afar saw the feet moving, mistook it for a deer and pulled the arrow. After realizing that it was Lord Krishna whom he shot, the hunter cried and pleaded guilty. Nevertheless, the Lord smiled and forgave him, saying that it was all his plan and made him remember the story of the previous birth.
Vyasa's MahÄbhÄrata reports that Krishna ascended to heaven. Sarala's MahabhÄrata details a version where a hunter mistook Krishna's partly visible left foot for a deer (a decoration looked like a deer's eye) and shot an arrow which wounded him mortally.
Lord Rama had not died .He go to heaven directly and join with Lord Vishnu in Vikundam.
