Mick Foley had a match in Munich, Germany against Vader. He was in a hangman which is a Wrestling term for a spot where a wrestler's head is tangled between the top two ring ropes, sounds painful but is usually safe, but in Mick Foley's case, he was with WCW and their ropesweren't even ropes, they were steel cables in rubber casing. So not only were that steel cables, but they were tightened to the maximum because someone complained they weren't tight enough. So while he struggles to get out of the ropes, he tore off 2/3rd of ear.
