How did Selena Quintanilla Perez die?

Selena Quintanilla Perez was shot and murdered by Yolanda Saldivar who was her Best Friend and Fan Club President. Trying to avoid the subject of her taking money from Selena's boutiques, Yolanda, told Selena that she had been raped. After taking her to the hospital and finding no proof of Yolanda being raped, her and Selena went to a motel and Selena told Yolanda that she couldn't trust her anymore. When Selena turned to leave Yolanda drew a gun form her purse and shot Selena in the Right Shoulder which severely damaged her Right Artery. Selena ran outside the room and collapsed on the lobby floor. Selena died from blood loss at 1:05 pm on March 31, 1995. Yolanda Saldivar is still in prison.
