Batman (Terry McGinnis) never met Bruce Wayne as Batman on Batman Beyond. They did, however, meet in the Justice League Unlimited episode The Once and Future Thing, Part 2: Time Warped.
Bruce Wayne's parents were murdered by a robber when he was a child, so he dedicated his life to fighting crime as a superhero. Unlike Superman, Batman has no special powers.
