How did Jim Morrison of the doors die?

Morrison died of a hemorrhage after insufflating heroin, which he believed to be cocaine on July 3, 1971 in Paris, France.

This remains subject to great speculation. However, it is generally accepted that he had scored too strong of heroin mix from a club next door, where he was reported to have collapsed. It is thought that "friends" had carried him out the kitchen door and up to his appartment he shared with Pamela. They attempted to revive him in a cold bath, but it became apparant that he had passed.

Pamela woke and saw at least one of the "friends" leaving the apartment and then discovered Jim "asleep" in the bath.

First of all i would like to say i am a big doors fan. anyway ok most people belive he died in a night club and the dealers dumped his body in his bathtub that night. Now i don't belive any of this happened because i got a hold of Gerald Pitts and he gave me Jim morrisons best friends number to contact them at and so i called this man and his name is David. I talked for a while and could her Jim in the backround acouple coughs here and there and then i asked him if i could ask Jim a question. Now before i tell you what happens David said Jim has only talked to 3 people over the phone in 10 years which is cool, but anyway. I asked him Jim, "Do you still write poetry and sometimes sing?" and i heard jims voice say, "Yes i still write from time to time." Now im a pretty big fan of the doors here and i would know if the voice was him or not but i can tell you guys this when i heard him talk i could tell it was really him in the backround which was farout so pretty much people Jim is alive and living well. So lets all just leave it at that. were all human beings we don't have to treat Jim like hes still famous now don't get me wrong here he is pretty famous its just if you think about it Jim Died in out hearts July 3rd, 1971 and that was the last we had heard him sing..

no one really knows how he died but i believe that he died of a drug overdose.

It is generally accepted that Jim Morrison died of a heroin overdose in a Paris nightclub. "Friends" helped to carrying him home to be placed in a tub of cold water, a local "resuscitation effort" for junkies who have O.D. It was not successful.
