Answer:
It was tragic , he was paranoid , and had lost what good counsel there was {like Seneca , his once teacher & advisor} Nero was surrounded by ambitious ruthless men , who were not afraid of him , , ,
He made some very bad decisions , some argue that his empire ended , when the fire in Rome started , one which quickly got out of control . The fool Nero failed to recognise how much in grief Romans were , the land on which the burnt houses stood , Nero offered that land up to anyone,he sought to build a palace, lived the life of emperor whilst Romans were crying & desolate.
Then his biggest blunder was that when he got wind of his decline in popularity , he wanted to create a diversion, so he started scapegoating a sect of people called the "Christians" you may have heard of them .
That was a bad move , because it's like now say we are in a recession , and the President blames the catholics , even Romans could see through it . Anyhow , this pigs ear of a Roman emperor carried on his brash style of rule for 14 years , until the Romans , egged on by the senate , revolted against Nero.
He than ran , dressing in a gown with a hood to hide himself , he found refuge in some friends house , but he knew it was only a matter of time before they found him , so he committed suicide crying in grief , saying something like "O what an artist dies in me" or words to that effect , because Romans , they're all Italians , you know.
