How did southerners shape their pro-slavery arguments and what were the responses of the abolitionists?

Answer:
Some of the arguments that pro slavery southerners used was that they argued that abolitionists only wanted to free enslaved workers so that they could work in Northern Factories, where they would get paid low wages, and would have to pay for food and shelter, and also where it was dangerous. The pro-slavery and antislavery groups continued to argue. Then, around that time the women's right movements was growing.
