How did the Bon Jovi band start?

Jon Bon Jovi played guitar and piano in a band when he was thirteen, called 'Raze'. This is not the same group as 'Bon Jovi' but this is said to be where JBJ picked up his talent. JBJ later met David Bryan, the group's keyboard and second vocal player, when he was sixteen. They formed a 12-piece cover band called 'Atlantic City Expressway' after New Jersey's Highway. They played at New Jersey clubs, even though they were minors. Still in his teens, Bon Jovi played in the band 'John Bongiovi and the Wild Ones', playing local clubs like "The Fast Lane" and opening for known acts in the area. The group 'John Bongiovi and the Wild Ones' first got recorded when Jon Bon Jovi was working at a Power Station Studios, a recording studio in Manhattan his cousin, Tony Bongiovi, co-owned. The group recorded a demo track in 1981, and discussed a future recording contract. In 1982 they re-recorded this song, with adjustments, and finally released it in 1983.
