How did the Nazis discriminate the gays?

Answer:
Some gays who were sentenced to terms in jail were sent to concentration camps instead. Others were sent, without trial, to concentration camps and treated exceptionally badly there. The death rate for gay inmates was very high. In some cases they were beaten up (or worse) by fellow prisoners.
