An Islamic government is one in which all rules and laws are derived from the Koran and Islam. God is the top authority, not the vote of the people, so it is usually headed by religious authorities.
It is a democratic government system which rules according to Shariah law. Shariah is law that has been taken from rulings given in the Quran and Hadith.
First of all, we are a democracy, and that is based of Athens's Government type. Second of all it would be how our buildings are built. It is very Greek and Roman types of buildings.
