Well, being a steamer, what it DIDN'T do was to set sail.

Down below, the engineers and Stokers had been hard at work for hours getting the boilers warm and up to pressure.

Apart from that, it'd be a question of retracting the gangway, casting off the moorings and order the Engine "slow ahead".

Or maybe have a tug or two to help out getting pointed out of the Harbor.
