But they were started in the 1960's in Chicago Illinois by Larry Hoover & david Barksdale when they both combinded their seperate gangs. Gangster Disciples are under the Folk Nation and wear the colors black and gray NOT blue. They stopped the wearing of the color blue cause they didn't wanna get mistake for Crips(which they have nothing to do with each other).
