A man will visit if you drop a knife, a woman if it's a fork or a child if its a spoon:) I think they will be unexpected visitors...
it seems to vary from place to place, I know my grandmother would mention these when/if it happened but I cannot recall it all in detail.
Maybe its true someone else should pick it up if it's a knife, there should always be a remedy: for anything anyway..) and it's in us:)
