Answer:
prior to answering the question of "how did the white caucasian race come to be", let us establish where civilization began. Scientifically the original man was said to be of African descent which can be authenticated by the artifacts and human remains. Biblical Adam was formed and placed in a garden in Eden which is Africa. Further if we surmise that God is omniscient and he placed Adam in a area (Eden) without clothes, where the climate is mostly hot, then we can also surmise that with Gods' infinite wisdom/knowledge, God put enough melanocytes in Adam to produce the brown skin coloring pigment melanin which combats the sun-rays which produce cancer. Therefore we can hypothesize that Adam must had been formed with the pigmentation of the dark race. You see if the melanocytes are unable to make melanin (brown skin coloring pigmentation), then the person will be pale (white) skinned. He would need to avoid sunlight and his skin would burn easily. This is the description of a person who has leprosy as stated in Leviticus 13:1-46 verses. If one read Leviticus 13:12-13 verses, you will see that once leprosy covers all the skin of an individual that person pigmentation or skin is turned white. Now the question would be, if leprosy was considered a plague that turned people skin white, then what color was their skin prior to leprosy. Is it possible that the term "white people" was coined back in the time of the prophet Moses and we kept this term until present day. Now according to the bible, God destroyed the first world with a flood. In doing so, Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord; therefore Noah, his sons (Shem, Ham and Japheth) and their wives were spared from the flood. Now up until the time of the flood, all the population of this time had to be of the dark race because they were all descendants of Adam. Therefore Noah had to be of the dark race because he is from the bloodline of Adam. Now in Genesis 9:1-28 verses, something very strange happen to one of the sons of Noah. Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father. When Noah awoke from his wine and knew what his younger son had done unto him, he said "curse be Canaan, a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. And he said, blessed be the Lord God of Shem and Canaan shall be his servant. God shall enlarge Japheth and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem and Canaan shall be his servant". Now this curse was subject to his descendants also. This is so because the prophecy of Noah was to a large extent fulfilled when the descendants of Canaan became "hewers of wood and drawers of water" for the Israelites (ref. to Joshua 9:23). Now the next question that would come to mind, is how would we distinguish Canaan descendants in future generations. Remember in Genesis 4:11-16 verses, when the Lord cursed Cain? When God cursed Cain, the Lord set a mark on Cain. This mark was to make people aware that whoever kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on them sevenfold. In the case of Canaan, he too received a mark. As Cain received a mark for distinction purposes, Canaan had to also be distinguished. A point that can be looked at to attest to this fact is that God informs us of everything through the manifestation of signs, such as the sign of the rainbow, the mark of Cain, the sign of the covenant, the sign of Jonah and the sign of the times. This mark or sign manifested in Canaan through leprosy. We know that leprosy manifested in a family dwelling in the land of Canaan because God told Moses that I would put the plague of leprosy in an house of the land of your possession (ref. to leviticus 14:33-34). How did Abraham know who was the descendants of Canaan? Remember that Abraham made his servant swear that he wouldn't take a wife for Abraham's son from the daughters of the Canaanities. This leads me to believe that there had to be a way of distinguishing Canaans' descendants throughout generations. The only way this could be done to my knowledge, would be if his culture and customs were different which will be directly in accordance with their biological makeup. The only thing which affected the biological makeup of generations at that time was leprosy. We know this is true because in 2Kings 5:1-27 verses, Elisha, a man of God cured Naaman of leprosy and his flesh was restored. Now Elisha's servant, Gehazi disobeyed Elisha by accepting gifts from Naaman; therefore Elisha told Gehazi the the leprosy of Naaman shall cleave to him and his descendants forever. At that moment Gehazi went out from the presence of Elisha as "white as snow". In the book of Leviticus it gives a detail account of the signs, symptoms and appearance of this plague. It states that when leprosy covers all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh and the body has all turned white, the person is "clean". Clean in this sense means that the person is immune to this plague. Remember that the plague of leprosy took a long time for completion.
